Overview of current support issues:

We would like to inform our customers, using the Dennemeyer S.A. interface, about a change to the payment transfer file for your company's payment run to Dennemeyer S.A. We carried out this change in May 2024.

From now on, the information for the European Unitary Patent will be sent to Dennemeyer S.A. transmitted using the “UP” label. This change replaces the previous “EU” designation in our transfer file.

We kindly ask our customers to contact our customer support if you are filing unitary patent applications. The adjustments will  be sent to you as quickly as possible. This change serves to standardize and optimize our processes within the scope of the European Unitary Patent.

If you have any questions about this change or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Currently known issue when changing to Windows 11

Our customers often ask us questions about using PatInForm regarding the interaction with Microsoft Office365. For this reason, we would like to give you a brief note on how the two applications work together:

In general, there are no problems using the two applications together.
Please make sure that the correct paths to the corresponding applications from the Microsoft group and the Adobe PDF program are entered in PatInForm. This is especially true for Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Error message: DOCM does not exist

The main document for the merge process does not exist [Path]\MIXDOC\xxx.DOCM

This is a message from PatInForm. It tells that there is not yet a file with the extension .DOCX in the \MIXDOC directory of PatInForm. Recently, newer Microsoft applications are using the .DOCX format. This means that your templates will no longer be identified if they are still saved in the old .DOC format in this directory.

Create the templates again and save them in .DOCX format. After re-executing the function in PatInForm, this error message will no longer appear.
